Hello, I was raised in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, and Texas has been my home for many years, I received my Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Also, have a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2010.
As a professional in the AEM/AIC/design industry, I have over 15 years of professional experience with a track record of delivering projects in various sectors including urban planning where I worked for the City of San Juan, Texas which'd help me shape my career. I have the expertise that meet your requirements, nonetheless I'm always eager to learn more and learn from each other the key to delivery is Interdependence and layering of the team as of what I've experienced in my line of work and working professionally among talented individuals throughout my career. My work goes beyond Texas and into other states.
As my qualifications demonstrate, I have been involved in many projects ranging from residential, finish outs, renovations, commercial - retail, and institutional buildings, multi- family market rate and Affordable housing, educational facilities, stadiums, and most recently, Civic justice, airports and wellness facility for Oklahoma. I 'am adept at using design software, such as Revit, Procore, Bluebeam, Sketchup though prefer to use Revit mostly.
Furthermore, as a person with an architectural background I have played various roles I can provide valuable insight. I can collaborate effectively with Principals, PMs, Leaders, Senior architects, design professional, clients and team members to ensure that the design vision and documentation is achieved working with the team I make sure to deliver a quality finish. I've design project standards being used today.
Moreover, I'm experience in building codes, standards and regulations. I have also coordinated with consultants, developers and contractors, specification writers and cities having jurisdiction during the regulatory phase and have attended Planning and Zoning Meetings for the city with the Developer to make sure they have the material needed for P&Z approval. I've produced documentation needed for each project for all phases. I'm team oriented and a great mentor, and familiar with the VE process to help achieve the project deliverable though out each phase.
